“There is potential for considerable development as we live and learn together, coming from different perspectives and ways of viewing the world.”

Noora Wellbeing is about throwing light on issues related to women’s wellbeing, on what is being done, and on what can be done. The best way to develop our thoughts and discover other aspects of women’s wellbeing, is to discuss – critically and reflectively – together with others. We thus want to support these discussions, through suggesting topics and themes for discussion.

If you want to start discussion groups with friends, family or colleagues, around various topics that have to do with women’s wellbeing, we can help you get started. Every 3 months we will post a new topic, through our newsletter. If you want to receive these, sign up for our newsletter. And if you have ideas for more topics, please email us!

Start thinking about stories:

  • Imagine someone asking you to share YOUR story, what would you say?

  • Is there value in sharing stories?

  • When was the last time you shared your story or listened to someone else's story?

DIscussion guidelines

It can be hard to know where to start with more formal discussions, and these guidelines can help provide some structure.

Sometimes it can be useful to take a look at why we think the way we do, which will impact how we approach different subjects, the views we hold. In the book Crossing borders there is a reflective framework that can be used as a basis for more self-reflective discussions, see pages 110-111.

discussion topics

The discussions are based on the themes of the newsletter, which are related to the overall themes of Health, Education, Leadership and Entrepreneurship. These span over a year.
